What, if anything, do you think will become of KTLA in light of Tribune filing for bankruptcy protection?
When they state that, and you work there, RUN to the unemployment office.Carmine5 said:Here's the quote from RBR I based my comment on:
"...the Q&A...also said there will be no layoffs resulting from the Chapter 11 filing. “This filing is about our debt, not our operations,” it stated."

When the suits say nothing to a rumor, you're just fine, when they come out and deny it, you're in trouble.azumanga said:4UH8SIMBKAGN said:When they state that, and you work there, RUN to the unemployment office.Carmine5 said:"...the Q&A...also said there will be no layoffs resulting from the Chapter 11 filing. “This filing is about our debt, not our operations,” it stated."
That's what I hate about "rumor control" by the suits -- a rumor about something bad goes around, the suits say either that it is false or nothing would happen, and "POOF" -- the rumor magically comes true, negating what the suits say.
