Tribune, Sinclair Pick Up Daily Mail TV Show

http://www.tvnewscheck.com/article/102700/tribune-sinclair-pick-up-daily-mail-tv-show

According to the link its a team up between Dr. Phil and Jay McGraw

Nearly two years ago, the U.K.-based Daily Mail said that it was teaming with Dr. Phil McGraw and his son Jay on a syndicated magazine show based on the tabloid website.

It appears that those plans are finally coming to fruition.

Sinclair and Tribune have agreed to carry the show, giving it the clearances it needs to get off the ground this fall, according to informed sources.

Tribune reaches 44% of the TV homes; Sinclair, 39%. However, the groups have overlapping stations in several markets, including Washington, Seattle, St. Louis and Portland, Ore. The overlaps reduce the groups' combined coverage.

CBS Television Distribution is handling distribution.

I think Tribune would take Daily Mail in the West Michigan market FOX17 since they have more slots to fill where WWMT doesn't have slots to fill just my opinion. If Daily Mail is cleared for the West Michigan market for Daily Mail find out once promos come out in late July or the website.

Gray has picked up Daily Mail up to 66% of the country and about 105 TV stations total will air Daily Mail with Sinclair & Tribune from Broadcasting & Cable.

Perhaps this replaces Celebrity Name Game in the fall on KIMA. It would air at noon.
