Tribute Website to Cincinnati Radio

I found a website last night that has a Powerpoint-like presentation of old WSAI, WCPO, and WUBE survey sheets, along with small aircheck samples of Bo Wood as Michael Xanadu, Geoff Nimmo from his WSAI-FM days, Alan Browning from WKRC, Leo Underhill chatting with Bob Nave on WNOP, and the gem is an 18 minute clip of Shad O'Shea and Mike Gavin on WCPO from late 1964. Here is the URL http://www.karenserenity.com/surveysheets.htm. Without the surveysheets extension, the main site appears to be some type of site aimed at transsexuals, how that relates to Cincinnati Radio is beyond me, but I am grateful for whoever put the Cincinnati radio tribute together

GREAT FIND !!!! This site, along with the audio clips, brought back many a fond memory of the WCPO-WSAI-123WB days. I especially enjoyed the Shad and Mikestream. They really put alot of creativity and production into their show. And the Ted McAllister stream has a great flashback (to the Carpenters' "Yesterday Once More")including Gene Austin, Paul Purtain, Dusty (1966), Roy Cooper, and more.

Fun sites. Makes me want to pull out some of my old WSAI, WUBE, and WING surveys. Love the airchecks. The Cincinnati radio tribute site has some real gems, like the WCPO aircheck which would seem to be pretty rare. I wonder who the person is behind this site. And how in the world did you come across this, jcr? Great find!

I found the site by accident, while doing a Yahoo search for survey sheets. I ran survey sheets together in the search field by accident and came upon the site. I was amazed to see a WCPO aircheck on there, since I have only come across two WCPO airchecks on the Internet. Whoever put this together must have a great collection.

Where are the other WCPO air checks on the internet???

I may have confused you. I have seen them for sale or trade, not actually available to listen to. One of Gary Allyn from 1965, available thru California Airchecks, as part of a "personality profile" tape with other deejays around the country; the other is of Bob Keith, which I have seen in an aircheck collector's listing available for trade. I have the Gary Allyn aircheck on MP3, if you want to contact me at [email protected], I would be happy to email it to you
