trip through the delta

Was in the delta last night noticed WKDJ 96.5 was off

also 101.9 Mound Bayou still off
heard some of the worst distortion I've heard broadcast during some commercials on 95.3... but the did id and joing back to fox sports properly (mistake right?)

WROX 1450 off - I think LFuss may have hinted of some downtime a while back
was able to hang on to 92.1 till i was between Rome and Parchman

when i got further south 105.7 was the Meridian station
if 103.5 was on it was obliverated by WRBO.. didn't notice anything in the background behind them

i flipped to am and couldn't pull even an id out of WLS.
890 sounds about like 1240 1340 or any of the graveyards.
it's a shame... WLS used to be wall to wall with minimal fading back when i was growing up.

the am dominates where whas wbap wwl wlw wsb
wbz was coming in pretty well too

Lightning storm took WROX off on the 11th (damn solid state transmitters!) It took several days to get the engineer down there, but it's back on as of the 18th.

LF

spent some time in N Central MS.

WSEL's signal is really bad these days anyone know if they are at lower power?

WWKZ's Mic sounds really bad these days anyone know about that? It sounds like a radio shack mic and it has absolutely no low end to it
I noticed they also have a very noisy STL link.

Between Bruce and Oxford every other spot on the dial seems to be an AFA station I'll post a list of the freq. I could hear them on. It's outragious to me how many sticks the afa is on esp. when you can here them all over the dial in places.

in Bruce KKPT Little Rock was the dominate station on 94.1 everytime i was in the car today and when i got to Bruce yesterday. When moving every now and then ZBQ or the Buzz would pop in for a fraction of a second.

Could hear 92.5 Forrest stick pretty well but that was always a monster signal
also could get WMSI and WJKK from Jackson.
