Triple-S Express

> Anyone remember this and who and what station it involved???

Sure. When 104.1 was WTPA, sporting an Album Oriented Rock format, a guy who called himself "Torey" did the morning show, which he called the "Triple S Express." (Figure out the triple s's for yourself.) When 104.1 flipped to CHR as WNNK, Torey moved over to 93.5, which adopted the WTPA calls and switched to AOR. He did mornings there for a couple of years. The last I heard him, he was doing weekends on the River, but that was when they first signed on many years ago, and I haven't heard him since. Torey was quite a character from what I've been told. Quite good on the air for that format, I always thought.
