Is it me Or when triv is on vacation, the show becomes painful to listen to. rado and the glorified intern made me go down the dial to WKNR. If triv is going to be absent why not have a competent fill in... No offense but Rado is not what I would call a good fill in.... Anybody else want to comment.

Some would argue it's painful no matter what, but to each their own....
How Rado gets so much on-air work is beyond me. All right, maybe not. He comes on the cheap. I don't hear much talent when he is on, and it seems the only points he makes are done so to be controversial. Geez, where would he get an idea like that from?
But such is radio, where board ops and producers can become drive-time hosts in the blink of an eye. I've said it before and will say it again: it's not fair, it's not good to listen to, but it is what it is. Others with more talent are stuck listening to those with less actually get the opportunities.
Should anybody question this, just go back and remember the days when Rado and Jerry Jaye co-hosted a show. Had Rado gotten any better?

1350 AM
I usually flip between Triv and Ed Schultz on 1350 AM. After a couple minutes on 1100 AM, I had it on Ed the rest of the way home. I had no clue who was on WTAM but it was bad. They were all over the place.

What the hell happened? (Rehetorical question) But isn't it interesting that Galeti, Frantz and Gilly are purportedly vying for the 9a gig on WTAM? Hmmm...
BTW, anyone remember Rado and Jerry Jaye - on then co-owned WKNR/1220 Sunday mornings? And guess who was the smarter of the two... god, I miss Jerry...

I think I heard Chuck during the late morning slot on 1100 on St. Patrick's Day. I enjoy him. He's entertaining.

Yesterday was very painful for the ride home.
Rado is unlistenable, the young girl was terrible. I have no idea why they couldn't put someone better in the chair. My god, Triv is bad enough on some days, then on a day he is off, to be forced to hear Rado I wanted to rip my ears off.
Hannity was annoying on 640, I have no idea how Rhoda has a job when Chuck Booms is available, Medved was mildly entertaining but I can only take him in small doeses. I even checked out NPR. I was desperate!
I hope they do better today.
