Trope and E-Skip DX : Is It Reciprocal ?

I had asked this somewhere years ago, but don't recall the responses.
If an FM DXer on Long Island was hearing FM stations from Norfolk VA all over the dial, would a Norfolk VA FM DXer be hearing Long Island stations via trope ?
If so, would E-Skip behave the same way ? Or would different principles apply ?

That's a great question! I don't know if you named the city of Norfolk hypothetically, but if you're actually referring to Norfolk, what stations are you picking up? I'm in the area and can't say that I've noticed the opposite, but I don't have any special or expensive equipment.

E Skip is definitely reciprocal just based on the premise of how it happens and I've had people tell me in comments to my videos when I lived in Florida that they were hearing stations from my area at the same time I was hearing their stations.

Don't know if the same applies to tropo.

If there's a tropo duct I would think it would be reciprocal (depending on open frequencies), St. Louis should be able to hear Indianapolis and Indianapolis should be able to hear St. Louis at the same time).

On several occasions, I've recieved a message from someone who was saying that they are receiving my area, and nine times out of ten, I'll receive their area as well. So in my testing, it does appear to be reciprocal.
