Happy Springtime! It's that time for weird skips and massive interference:

I even heard some stories that 8 was even cutting in and out during American Idol on Wednesday night with freezes for several minutes. By Thursday morning it had gotten even worse to where 4, 8, 20, 54 were frozen or it looked like the picture was melting. On the still analog side 9 was terrible too, and even the local on 30 (still on a crane) was getting killed with static. The rest experienced some dropouts, but were bearable.

My experience on the Radio dial. KLRZ wasn't even making it to Houma. And my satellite radio was getting killed by interference on my FM transmitter station on 93.9.
If I would have been thinking, I would have scaned the dial a little better. Heck, I would have scanned the TV dial to see what digitals were coming in since that is the only one that really counts now.
I suspect, that 30 was getting killed by the KVHP digital signal on 30 in Lake Charles since they upgraded to full power in Feb. They were 29 back in the analog days.
