This used to be common before WUCX-FM Bay City signed on. Just heard WMBI-FM in SE Michigan on the car radio. I heard the ID at 1:00 PM. Heard off and on for a good half hour. All other frequencies from near Chicago have locals or near locals.
As you may already be aware, WMBI is somewhat unique in that they're one of the very few full-powered Chicago FMs that doesn't transmit from one of the super-tall downtown skyscrapers. Their stick is about 20 miles to the west-northwest of downtown (IIRC). They're also running 100kw.
I should have tried for WBEZ. That would be the next most likely. I did try for WLEY after thinking about it, but WCRZ is close by. Further away from locals, WYCA and WYEN were common, and WNUS-FM/WGCI at the previous TL.
