tropo notifications?

Hey guys. I know someone gave a tropo prediction site but it does not work well with my screen reader. I am blind and have to use one. So, i was wondering if anyone knows of good sites to find good info on tropo? I know it's hard with my screen reader. I was wondering if maybe someone could post when a good tropo comes up? I live in altamonte springs florida and am a huge dx fanatic. thank you guys for all your help. I will tell you my skips when the next tropo comes up. i'll try to roll video or audio and see what happens. thanks.

Tune to a station that frequently is the first station to come in on tropo, or comes in weakly during no tropo. When that station is strong, there's tropo. When you hear a completely different strong station, there's e-skip.

I have done that in the past. i guess i'll just play with my radios everynight around this time of year. That's how i made that catch from wilmington n.c on june 4th on 99.9 fm. it was amazing. i was playing with my stereo and heard it come in clear as day for about an hour.

oh yeah last night i made a catch from jacksonville but that is not a big deal... that is 100 miles away.

oh yeah, i know this may sound wierd but on june 4th i think i heard wfbo on 97.7 fm witch is an lp station about 70 miles away from me in flagler county.

Before William Hepburn's graphical tropo maps appeared, he used to issue the forecast in text form. Here's an example from 1998, archived here:

Friday Night Fcst
-----------------
Potential Duct # 1..
Section A..
Moosonee ON-Sudbury-Toronto.
Section B..
Toronto-Buffalo-Harrisburg-Wildwood NJ.

Duct will be narrow. Duct split into 2 sections above due to the large
curve in the path. Duct nearly-stationery.

Potential Duct # 2..
Fort Dodge IA-Des Moines-St Louis-Paducah-Nashville.

This duct will not be as narrow. Duct nearly-stationery.

And so on. Unfortunately, I don't think he does those any more - just the maps. I think Nick's advice is good. Plus, you can't really rely on his forecasts. It seems like at least half the time I have good tropo, it doesn't show up on the maps. Not that WRH's maps are anything but an excellent service to DX'ers.
