I know most, if not all of you dont cre about spanish Stations but here goes.
I went to Laredo Tx Wednesday well my sister was going from station to station and we were in Freer Tx and KLTN, KQBU fm, KXGJ was playin loud and clear. So I started listening to english stations and all together Mix 96.5, the buzz 94.5, La que buena and Estereo Latino mad it all the way to LAredo Tx.

See....now this is a good post, mr.texmex. We always like to hear tropo and skip reports. This happens quite often and also in reverse. Typically 94.9 "The Works" can be heard here in Houston, and they're from Laredo. If you scan around the dial, you may be able to pick up stations from Brownsville, Corpus Christi, etc. You have to love that Gulf. It really helps to extend the stronger signals from the Valley up to here and reverse the Houston signals towards them.

If you are still down there, or next time you go, try out the AM dial. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how far some of those AM stations travel.

Look, I know several of us have been hard on you in the past and I am as guilty as anyone, but as long as you post intelligently like this, it won't matter whether your reporting on Spanish or English stations. It's all radio, and it's all interesting. I have been known to post information about a Spanish station, or even an Arabic station before. As long as it's news and presented in a manner as you did above, you should never receive a negative response from any of us.

Well done, mr.texmex.
