Very strong Tropo last night. I was able to pick up a lot of San Antonio radio station the whole night. 101.9 came right through the HD hiss of 102.1 Also to my surprise, I was able to receive both KISS FM and KSMG HD signals. KISS was very unstable, but I was able to lock in KSMG HD for a couple of seconds. Also, I heard spanish through 103.1, at first, I thought it was KVJM, but it turns out it was KTXX. KAJA 97.3 and Jack 102.7 were also was listenable. Bob from Austin was very clear. Also heard Club 98.3 and KOUL 103.7 from Corpus Christi.

Whoa...you could hear Magic 105.3 over The Woodlands BOB FM??? Funny, I thought they were supposed to be STRONG in the area now ;) I could have SWORN the owner stating it would cover Woodlands and N Houston ok.....but if Magic is covering them up, my, what a waste of money (I have GOT to take off the smirk face...it's killing me! and last time I was in the Woodlands, KTWL STILL doesnt have any decent coverage there...ooohhhh well ;)

BTW 103.7 ws running their Baytown aux most of Friday and Saturday morning (today)...friends told me KVIL out of Dallas was booming into the BPT area like a local this morning!! I remember back in the 70s/80s when that was a regular occurance (before all the rimshots and translators)...

Thursday in San Antonio I was recieving Sunny 99.1, 97.9 The Box, 103.3 La Raza, 94.5 The Buzz and 95.7 The Wave. Apparently La Ley 95.7 was off the air, so I was getting a strong signal from the wave across town.
Magic 102.1 was coming in somewhat, but was getting blasted by Q101.9.

Out in Lavaca county I pulled in Jammin 94.9 in Laredo 202 mile skip and I have my outdoor antenna going towards Victoria! That was kind of strange. I havnt been doing as much dx'n lately. I need to get back in it.

The Aux signal is very noticable. While Driving, 103.7 was filled with stopless static.
