Tropofabulous DX in Michigan tonight!!

93.7- KTUF- Kirksville, MO- Country- Heard with 'Lia' and call letter mention. NEW #713. At 411 miles, this broke my old record by 12 miles. But the best was yet to come.

107.9- KLTE- Kirksville, MO- Religious- Heard with religious program and call letter mention. NEW #714. At 439 miles away, this topped KTUF from the top after like, five minutes. :)

95.1- WGGC- Bowling Green, KY- Country- This was the surprise of the night, as it was wayy out in left field from the other stuff I heard. This is new log #715 and it's also the shortest new log of the night at 353 miles. This one is kind of special because my cousins live in BG.

103.7- KJEL- Lebanon, MO- Country- Heard with call letter and owner (Regional Radio) mentions. New log #716. This is the breadwinner of the night (and of my entire logbook for now) at an even 500 miles away!

94.5- KRXL- Kirksville, MO- Classic Rock- All request show with a caller whose accent was so thick it almost sounded like a different language. Fortunately, the imaging voice was more distinguished. :) New log #717 at 405 miles.

96.9- KZBK- Brookfield, MO- Hot AC- Heard with ABC's 'Best Hits Best Variety' format and call letter mentions. This was new log #718 at 445 miles.

This was the tropo I KNEW was going to make it here eventually. I've read about the awesome tropo reports around the Midwest this week, so I was ready for this one. As of 11:55, it seems to have subsided for now. Hopefully it will return tomorrow morning!
