Troprock in Panama City

According to a Facebook post by the Magic Broadcasting engineer, 1290 will be returning the air in a week or so with the "Troprock" format....ah, Jimmy Buffet with noise and static...that's exactly what we need
 
I gotta wonder if that is worth the time and effort...how much would all that cost? Was it a from the ground up project? Maybe CCENG knows something about this. Boy, it makes you wonder why a company would go to the effort. Especially when there are plenty of FM stations play Buffet with static already! LOL
 
Don't know much about this Tibbs....I know Steve, the Magic engineer is a musician and primarily plays that type of music....maybe they just let him program it just to keep it on the air
