Number one station in the market for February 25-54 cume was: MOVIN! Surprise??!! Lots of champagne at Sandusky as MOVIN tears apart KBKS, KUBE and the rest of the market. The males on this board are quick to bury a solid station. Turns out the staff is getting the job done after all. Monti had a spectacular trend. That lady gets it done. Top cume stations in demo in the market were KQMV, KMTT, KPLZ, KMPS, KZOK. MOVIN did a yaya sisterhood slam on the market. Every guy on this board predicted MOVIN, KMTT, KPLZ and KMPS were over. (yes even me with KMPS and KPLZ) SURPRISE. Biggest disasters for the month had to be KUBE, KBKS, WOLF and JACK. All fell apart as MOVIN rocks up. Shows how little the board ops that post here really know about radio. Yaya job to the Sandusky crew for stickin with MOVIN. The format is Seattle based and does not compare to similar Burns formats around the nation as these rating indicate. For the record KMPS was tops in AQH for the month.

Cume?

Cume does NO good without TSL. (THAT'S why AQH is the used measurement. Not Cume.)

Now...how's Movin's TSL???

Yah, I seriously doubt they are popping the champagne corks at Sandusky over a one-month CUME win. I am also curious about the TSL.

Movin' is the #14 station 12+. (I don't have access to anything but 12+), but come on...(BTW, I have not been a board op since the early 80's) :)

We are quoting Cume in a trend now to claim victory? That is a first, even for this Board. How about we look at a four-book cume or AQH? Oh never mind that would be too easy. 12+ means nothing, cume even less. 25-54 AQH is really the gold standard over a four book, if you want to sell radio.

For the record, KMPS had a huge month in cume and AQH both 12+ and in adult demos. KQMV did well in adult demos (for this month only) in cume and AQH. KPLZ was top three in adult cume, but it appears to be all women AQH. KMTT had a nice cume and AQH month, KZOK remains solid. KUBE had an absurdly low month. JACK went back to where they have been near the bottom and KBKS had a poor month under a two share. WOLF was soundly beaten by KMPS, but is still quite strong and a top ten station, a good second place country in Seattle.

Here is a stunning prediction for everyone. Top stations for the book 25-54 will be KMPS, KZOK and KMTT. Top stations in men 25-54 will be KZOK, KISW and KJR-FM. Top stations in Women will be KRWM, KPLZ and KMPS. KUBE will win 18-34. Now here is another stunning observation: it pretty much is that way every year and every four book. The only real difference in the last few years is that KIRO has dropped out of the adult top three because of competition from KOMO.

Cume victory! That gave me a good laugh on a Monday. I am sure the corks are popping at KQMV, KMTT, KPLZ and KMPS for their "cume" win. Do bonuses get paid to programmers for a middle trend cume victory and double the bonus for a big 12+ trend. Damn funny posts.

Oh what do you expect from this old feminazi bigmouth. Just another STUPID Man Hater. ::)

She reminds me of all the big mouth feminists who predicted Katie Couric was on her way to beating "The Big Boys" Brian Williams and Charles Gibson.

ouch Mamma. Seems a few months ago you were singing the praises of JACK, WOLF and MOVIN. One bad trend and you start singin a new tune. What, you afraid if you support the Wolf people will think we are the same person again? One trend and the WOLF is over? One "cume" trend and MOVIN is a winner? You can do better than that. Least I stick with the ladies that brought me to the dance. WOLF, JACK, MOVIN are all doing better than the previous formats on their frequencies. WOLF is in a boxing match with KMPS and in Fall the round went to WOLF. In January the round went to WOLF, in February the round went to KMPS, but it ain't a knockout punch by any means.

I think we've all been "had"...Mamaknowsbest is a figment of our sarcastic imagination!
