True oldies channel 1340/1390 WEOK

Does anyone know if Cume-u-less plans to add any live assist to the Feed on the TOC?? Morning drive??? I did hear a short request show one night from like 6-8 pm...Popular station , well programmed and executed!!!
Thanks

I too would like to hear a local morning show. It would be a nice break from Scott Shannon 24/7.
Unfortunately Cumulus has put zero effort into promoting TOC, so even though it is a good station, most people won’t know it exists unless they stumble across it, on AM no less.. Did WPLJ -HD2 have a morning show? I don’t remember one. It’s to bad but I don’t think cumulus cares about WEOK/WALL and are just using TOC to keep the station on the air and hope to find some listeners in the process. But with no money spent on promotion, I doubt they will hire any live local air personalities .

How about bringing back Rick McCaffery to do the "Solid Gold Jukebox" on Friday nights. Rick hasn't done a show since he left WKIP last Halloween, I haven't heard this show since early 2007 when he left WBPM's "Cool 92.9" where they flipped from oldies to classic hits with a more rock approach like the former WRKW does back in the "Quality Rock" days. And let's not forget, the "Doo-Wop Cruise" on Friday nights playing nothing but doo-wops and even some street corner harmonies from the 50's and early 60's. That will fit for 1390/1340 to bring the "Solid Gold Jukebox" back to Friday nights.

If not, how about Gary Lee Schwartz? He will do the show on Fridays to 1390/1340 for TOC.

Streaming- too expensive. I agree they need a live morning show, with some local news, but guess they don't want to invest. Too bad, this is a sleeper....another value add would be a 6-8pm or so request/ dedication show...once it catches on it will be popular. Nothing like this in the area except 6-9 am on WHVW; great oldies show mon-friday.....Asked Rick about bringing back his jukebox show and he said there was no interest. Shame......

Actually, they are VERY interested in bringing back Rick McCaffery's Solid Gold Jukebox. They have to line up a couple of sponsors first, so "stay tuned".

Has anyone noticed the reverb that was added recently? How about Bob Miller doing the weather in the morning? Or the retro commercials? I think Cumulus is putting in some effort. Sure, they have a long way to go, but it sure beats Radio Disney, El Ritmo, ESPN and that NewsTalk Nightmare!
