True Oldies Channel Returns

It is now on WCBS FM HD3, and is still programmed by local personality Scott Shannon.
CBS Sports Radio, which had been on that channel, has been moved to WNSH HD3. There is no HD2 there at this time.

Sounds like they are broadcasting one channel of a stereo signal in mono. I heard We Can Work It Out by the Beatles and I could hear no vocals.

I believe that Entercom, Shannon's employer at his day job has nothing to do with his True Oldies project, other than carrying it on this station, and perhaps a few others.
The show is distributed by United Stations Radio Network.

Compared the 2 briefly. Different songs are playing.
That may be simply due to the fact that the online version has commercials and the HD3 does not, affecting the scheduling.

I haven't been able to find this commercial-free broadcast online. Perhaps Entercom will eventually add it. The version that has its own site has advertisements..

Shannon's True Oldies Channel also is carred on 250-watt daytimer WYRE in Annapolis, Maryland . Too bad the 810 AM audio is not equalized properly for music so it sounds like coming from a cavern...

Checked out the version carried by IHeart, as mentioned in a post above. It is apparently the same feed as on the TOC website, and has commercials.
The advantage of listening on the version broadcast by the HD3 in New York is that there are no ads.
