Truss Structure Tower Down

I recently found out a truss tower was blown over during Katrina in Old Gretna on the westbank. I did some asking and my friend's mother said it was the Jefferson Parish Police Department radio tower. She is a Jefferson Parish Police Officer and said they were working at the westbank lock-up when it came crashing down. The tower, fairly new, was part of their new radio system. As far as I know, no one was injured or killed by the falling tower.

If that's the tower I'm thinking of the New Orleans VHF Club had a 2 meter ham repeater up there. That tower was less than 5 years old if I remember correctly.
