Noway that soon. It has a atleast a year if ratings are low. Only what-am type ratings would bring a format change sooner, and there's noway they will be that low.

You people really need to get over it!!! This station isn't going anywhere. Clear Channel made the right decision on Rumba. It's the first full power Spanish FM station in Philly. It's going to attract many advertiser that are trying to appeal to the GROWING Hispanic community. 104.5 isn't going to the only Spanish FM station in Philly. As long as the Hispanic community continues to grow so will the amount of Spanish stations.

So who next to flip to Spanish? ;D

Nobody. The market, per Arbitron, is 5.1% Hispanic, and 50% English dominant (assimilated). Even with the greater use of raido by Hispanics, there are less than 3 total shares to be had in this market for Spanish radio (although they may get a binge listening first book). The metro is growning faster than the Hispanic population, so the percentage may actually decline when Arbitron updates its data in the Fall book.

Bit, in any case, this is hardly a stunt. They have hired an airstaff and made offers to support staff in other markets. It is there to stay.
