Truth Hurts-Addictive (So Contagious) (QUESTIONS)??

Why do I never hear this song as a recurent on any CHRs in the U.S,,, I still hear it occasionally on European Stations. Didnt they get taken to court, and lost, because they apparently used a Sample, without permission?<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by midwestclubber on 02/12/06 03:42 PM.</FONT></P>

There are plenty of songs that came out in 2002 that charted even higher than "Addictive" that don't get play anymore. I wouldn't imagine a court case would have anything to do with the song not getting played on U.S. CHR's these days. "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison went to court, lost the case (copyright infringement vs. "He's So Fine" by the Chiffons) and it still gets played on Oldies & Classic Hits stations.

I used to love that Truth Hurts songs. I wouldn't be surprised if Kiss XM doesn't spin it every now and then.

I love the song, but it probably doesn't test well when it comes to research. Stations do research golds just as they do currents.<P ID="signature">______________
