TRUTH IS OUT: LORETTA LYNN IS 80 NOT 77 AS SHE CLAIMS

That's like singer Anastacia (an American export singer who's had little success here, but well known in Europe) claimed to be 5 years younger than she really was. Back in 2008, she revealed that she was 40 & not 35.

Do three years when someone's 80 make a "big difference" to anybody?
Wouldn't think so. Unless someone's trying too hard to make "news."
Even The Juggler should know that.

What does it matter if she "hasn't aged well?" Did that make any real difference to you or your brother, or anyone else?

Pregnant at 13 sounds much worse than pregnant at 15. Makes a better press release for a celebrity who had to "struggle" to make it. And don't forget Nancy Reagan shaving two years off her age.

Just wait until Justin Bieber comes out sayin he is really 15, not 18. Yippee.

strange comments.............just more fodder from "Mr. Two Cents"

And all this matters why?

I've always been, at the same time, older AND younger than "my age".

According to the original AP story, which dug up the birth certificate in the Kentucky State archives, the record isn't necessarily a "smoking gun" disputing her age assertions: It wasn't filed until 1965.

But, according to the article:

The records weren't filed until 1965, which meant that Ms. Lynn needed multiple documents to prove her age at that time. Ms. Lynn's signature appears on the document as Loretta Webb Lynn.

Melvin Webb lists his daughter "Loretta" as 7 years old for the 1940 Census, according to a digital copy on file at the Kentucky Historical Society. Ms. Lynn's marriage license, obtained by the AP from the Johnson County clerk's office lists her as 15 on Jan. 10, 1948.

I don't think it matters, one or two years difference. Her story still stands as a testament of overcoming diversity and prospering.

What's strange about them? Lots of other 'fodder from all the Mr. Two Cents.' All of whom are making sense.

Why you only choose me to respond to? :( :(
I'm not going for The Juggler. The Juggler is just trying too hard.

Isn't it kind of "strange" that you'd be this focused on Loretta Lynn's age to post that what "she claims" is not true?
Or that you'd need to share all the links that, if people were interested, they'd likely come across on their own?
Just sayin. Love ya, mean it. That's why I'm trying to help, Juggler.
