Trying to figure out the date for an old tape

Hi,

I have a few old tapes of Loveline on KROQ, and I'm trying to figure out the dates that they originally aired. I know the year, but not the date. I've already looked through the various Loveline communities and the information isn't there. I was wondering whether any LA newspapers or magazines used to supply "Radio Highlights" during the 1990's akin to what the New York Times provides - if a talk radio show is going to have a guest they'll usually list it. I'm not sure that Loveline would even qualify for such a thing, but I'm willing to go back through archives or microfiche if there's a source for this sort of information.

You didn't mention how long in time your tapes of Loveline are. Something that worked for me if I forgot to record the date/time of an air check of a decent length was to listen to the commercials. On a music station (Loveline airs on a 'music' station) I was able to identify the date or approximate date thanks to some commercials about a concert or live event, they usually mention a date.
