trying to fool listering

I WON'T ignore the mispelling; and WILL point out that these are the same types of 'listerings' that get duped by these types of things, and then cry foul. Ever seen a well educated, professional 30-something scream unfair and file a suit in one of these giveaways? Heck, no. Why? CAUSE THEY'RE SMART ENOUGH TO GET IT!

BTW, the shot of the "injured party" accepting her prize and flipping off the camera with the DJs involved should have been enough to throw her (and her case) out of court, IMHO.

Bullshit lawsuits from stupid people trying to make a free buck.

This is a sentence, right?

What I was trying to say with ignoring the misspelling was, while this is a relatively professional message board, it is just that, a message board. Pointing out other people's misspellings and gramatical errors just drags down the thread, and nobody after that stays on message. It should be like a botched line on the air, act like it never happened. In this case, it could be that the originator of the thread meant to misspell the way that he did, because the listeners are so stupid.

Back on point, I agree that we as a society has gotten way too lawsuit driven. But I don't care about the lawsuit that follows... the point is, what makes this compelling radio? Why would people want to listen to this stuff? It really doesn't make sense to me.
