Tucker Carlson and Fox News part ways

Former Trump Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Picked to Tryout for Tucker Carlson’s Old Time Slot

McEnany will anchor the 8-9 p.m. hour for at least a week, starting Monday, May 8. It could go longer, as she’s slated to host the time slot for at least a week, TheWrap has confirmed.
McEnany is the third Fox News personality to fill in as a temporary replacement for Carlson, who was fired on April 24. First it was Brian Kilmeade, who stepped in the day Carlson got the axe. He lasted until April 28, a week largely defined by a 50% drop in viewership in the time slot.
This week, Fox contributor Lawrence Jones took over, and while ratings haven’t yet come out, presumably it was more of the same.

Apparently there are a lot of Tucker videos online, and Fox wants it to stop;

The sternly worded letter from Fox Corporation lawyers said the “unaired footage” is its “confidential intellectual property” and demanded Media Matters “cease and desist from distribution, publication, and misuse of Fox’s misappropriated proprietary footage, which you are now on notice was unlawfully obtained.”

In another article I saw earlier today, Fox News seemed to be blaming Dominion for the "leak" of at least some these videos, they were demanding Dominion fund an investigation into who was leaking them and how, and of course, strongly hinted that if Dominion was the leaker, it violated the terms of their recent settlement, which could mean that Fox News no longer needs to make that huge payout as agreed to in said settlement.

What but wait I thought the Whistleblower doing the leak is a former producer of Tucker Carlson suing Fox News for Toxic Work culture one and Smartmatic having to gather specific evidence within the Fox News Emails and Text Messages directed at them in a rant?

Here is more on Tucker Carlson. This is while Fox News is being sued.

Behind the scenes: Axios has learned that Carlson and Elon Musk had a conversation about working together, but didn't discuss specifics.

  • Carlson confidants say he also is contemplating building a direct-to-consumer media outlet where his millions of fans could pay to watch him. Carlson's predecessor in his Fox slot, Bill O'Reilly, created a blueprint for this.
  • Two days after being booted, Carlson teased in a Twitter video posted at 8 p.m. ET, counter-programming his former show: "See you soon." The two-minute video has racked up 24 million views.
State of play: The ousted host "knows where a lot of bodies are buried, and is ready to start drawing a map," said a Carlson source who wasn't authorized to speak publicly.

  • Carlson allies with big platforms are prepared to attack Fox for trying to keep him on the shelf.
  • Bare-knuckle brawlers from Trumpworld are standing by.

Former NFL star Brett Favre is calling for Fox News to be boycotted over the removal of Tucker Carlson. Anytime we hear Conservatives boycotting Fox News it's because they want to hype up NewsMax, LindellTV and OAN Network.

Wait...When black NBA basketball players try and stand up for social justice issues, Fox News pundits coldly tell them to "shut up and dribble". So where are those same pundits demanding that Farve "shut up and go throw the ball" in this case?? Oh, I forgot...Right-wing double standard.

I forgot...Right-wing double standard.

No, they're very consistent on this one thing: Black people have no rights. They aren't citizens. Their history doesn't matter. They shouldn't be allowed to vote. There's nothing in the constitution that gives them the same rights as anyone else. That's why they refer to all this as 'woke.' All of their anti-woke laws are based on the idea that the Civil Rights Act is unconstitutional.

I could see Twitter potentially being sued in a cease and desist order, asking them to block the account from posting videos because it violates the FOX contract.

Twitter doesn't post anything. It's users post things. The users are liable. Ask Alex Jones.

As taught by Hillsdale College, who will soon be running our public schools. For that matter only fetuses and guns have rights

Fox News is sued for Defamation this time it from a former Homeland Security official.
This is starting to become like Alex Jones being in Multiple Lawsuits at the same time from Sandy Hook Families to Chobani Suing Alex Jones for Pizzagate.

Nina Jankowicz said in the suit filed in Delaware state court that she was subjected to violent threats because of Fox News’ portrayal of her and her role, which included insults made on the network.

“Fox’s coverage of Jankowicz was neither news nor political commentary; it was cheap, easy entertainment untethered from the facts, designed to make consumers believe that Jankowicz could and would suppress their speech,” her attorneys wrote in the suit. “Fox chose to lie about Jankowicz deliberately.”

Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

Jankowicz, an expert in disinformation and an author, was appointed executive director of DHS board, which was created in late April 2022. It was an internal working group within the agency with no authority, the suit says.
