TULSA AM FOR SALE

Radiobroker.com has a "Tulsa AM for sale" for $1,000,000. Could 1300 be on the block?

With all the Texas move-in scenarios, they did have KEOR moving from Atoka to Catoosa... It would be a 1kw daytime signal on 1120 khz. It would be about like one of those outfits to want $1,000,000 for a station with no facilities and no billing just because it is in a rated market.

You're right. Without a night-time signal, it kills a lot of billing opportunity... local sports comes to mind. With CC dumping some of their stations, I wonder about AM 1300?
Any thoughts?

I don't think Clearchannel will break up their 6 station cluster in Tulsa.

The other stations mentioned don't seem like they would bring $1m.

The only Tulsa AM frequencies that are worth anything are 1170, 1430 and 740.

I have no idea what ABC paid for the Radio Disney AM a few years back. That would be a good comp to look at.
