Heard a plug for the "Great Radio Houston" show with Ronnie Renfro today promoting the show at "7 days a week. Saturdays and Sundays at 1 and weekdays at 5:30." Problem with that is KIKK signs off at 5:30 on the weekdays currently, so Ronnie is sending listeners to the fuzzy sounds of WSM. Someone might want to look into that at the station.
 
Ronnie probably hasn't updated the promo. Or the other version doesn't have a "kill date." On the Scott system, you can put a TFN in the "kill date" position and it would play forever. If it rotates on the same number with other promos, it would be automatically skipped if it has a "kill date."
 
Wow, totally non-sarcastic comment here... this is GREAT use of the R-I boards... If something slipped by me at my station accidentally, and someone heard it and posted it, that would rock.
 
That was my intention, NSR. I wish more folks would do this, as opposed to bickering with one another. Nothing gets accomplished that way. Thanks for the kind words. ;D
