Honey--Bobby Goldsboro (man did I hate that song when it was popular)
When it comes to "sappiness," nothing can compete with "Watching Scotty Grow." ::) :-X

Yikes !!! I almost include "Watching Scotty Grow" as one of my favorites. I must admit I am a big Bobby Goldsboro fan, big, not even closeted right out in the open. Even, "Broomstick Cowboy".

Actually I like most of Bobby's stuff. His early stuff is all good and I like "Muddy Mississippi Line" and "Summer The First Time" alot. Just don't play "Honey".

Lightning 100 (the AAA here in Nashville) burned Maroon5's "This Love" about five years ago, to the point that I remain sick of it to this very day, and will STILL hit the dial as soon as I hear the first couple of notes of it!! (Although, interestingly enough, Lightning 100 won't touch it anymore!) It's also interesting to note that Lightning 100 has not touched anything else by Maroon5 in the years since then! Guess they learned that Maroon5 does NOT belong on AAA radio!

If I never hear "Good Morning Starshine" again that will be a wonderful thing.
