TuneIn Radio Pro Question

I have a question about the TuneIn Radio Pro app. I know the main differences between the paid version and the free version is the ability to record radio as well as the elimination of banner ads. However, does the paid version also eliminate audio ads that are placed by the app? What I mean by that is this: I have about 15 "favorite" stations I regularly flip between. On the real commercial stations the app overlays most commercial breaks that are local in place with more "national" ads. Obviously these commercials will still be there. However, on Internet only stations (an example like the 181.fm stations) TuneIn places adds over the music typically when you switch between stations. This is incredibly annoying when you switch between stations regularly and have to put up with the same 2 ads over and over WHILE the station is playing music. Are these "overlapping" online-only ads eliminated in the paid app? Right now the app uses the same two Valspar commercials over and over but only on non-commercial online only stations.

I hope that made some sense :)
Can anyone with the paid app help me out?
Thanks!

Ditto here - I guess TuneIn Pro only puts audio ads on only when dialing up online-only stations? That's weird. My talk station is exclusively online and I've never heard any ads supplanted by TuneIn when I tuned in.

The paid and free versions have one common characteristic. They will both drain your cell phone battery very quickly.

I haven't had this problem since a newer version came out around a year ago. However, this used to be a major problem with TuneIn, especially if you just unplugged your headset and walked away for a few hours.

I don't get any audio ads with tunein pro except for those supplied by the radio station.

I haven't gotten any separate audio ads preempting the streams on the pro version either. On the web version, it sometimes runs an extra ad at the beginning before taking you to the stream, and I understand they may be adding that to the mobile app (don't know if it will be pro or just the free version). However, that's not a big deal since a lot of other streams play an ad at the beginning anyway.

OK, I'm getting the same results. Now with TuneIn Pro, I get the preemted ads (obviously) but I no longer get the audio ads placed everytime I switched online-only stations. There is still one ad at the startup (but you can usually skip that), so I suppose as we've all found, TuneIn Pro DOES seem to eliminate banner ads as well as extra ads not part of a broadcast.

Thanks All!
