Tuning around..

Hwy 52 extension opened thru Santee. If the "Q" were still in Santee, the topography changes the 52 made, would have ruined it's already non-
compliant patterns.
106.9 X three=1. KWVE re-broadcasts heard in Lakeside area on 106.9. Sporadic on weekends.
2. KIOZ image on 106.9 when you are in visual range of Soledad. Probable cause; 103.7 (1.6 mhz apart) injected into 105.3,mixed,
and reappears 1.6 mhz higher= 106.9. (probably well below allowable limits)
3. Heard Spanish programming, barely above noise level, on 106.9. Made out to be "Nueva Vida"..appears to have come from a
SEVEN watt translator serving Muscoy (San Berdu).
KRLY,Alpine goes STEREO. Previous owner Turro, favored mono at his LPFM's . KPFK's 93.7 translator troubles-Que Buena, 90.7 (TJ) has been heard
on this outlet. Clean, high, audio at 1090.. new hardware, maybe? You can hear 540 weakly, in coastal areas on 660. DTV ch.50(MX Canal) is a
study in bad broadcasting. Their time reference has been off by 1hr & 16 mins. Today it's only 1 hour behind. Audio/video sync has the video lag-
ging by around 4 seconds. When they HAVE audio. None today, folks. Frozen frames on 50-2, lasts for days. Picture quality rivals that of a second-
generation VHS copy. 50-3 and 50-4 showing color bars, non-stop. ( I know,I know,it's RADIO-info)

Does this mean that either the 90.7 from Mexicali has moved to Tijuana, or that the 90.7 in Mexicali is still there but changed name from 40 Principales to Ke Buena?

Tuning to 90.7 and 97.7, they matched what was coming from the Woodson translator. 90.7 signal is down about 3db since startup.

Lakeside- not sure if it's the same one. Not able to DF it that day. But the early version Comet groundplane is still mounted in the yard , on a street named Janet.
