Tupelo Radio...

Hey, I loved listening to that guy. Wish he was still around. Personality, he had it!

If it's the same Tom Bigbee that was at Miss 98 he hired me. He loved the voices I could do, sarcasm, and then he said "the country listener could care less about it. But we need you."
Thanks, Tom. ;)

Tupelo Radio is a good spring board for talent. Drumm and Burks got into Memphis with it (though we left shortly there after) and I'm at a station now in Southaven...which I would never have been at had I not worked in Tupelo. Depending on who you work for and with it's still a lot of fun.

Burks

Apparently also a good springboard for musical talent. There was that guy named Presley, of course, but in reading the bios of recently-passed songwriter and artist Delaney Bramlett, I see that he was from nearby Pontotoc.

Also back in the 90's wasn't there a Bill Hickock on Sunny 93? He used to do voices, bits and sounded like he was having a blast. I miss that kind of radio too. Anyone know of his whereabouts? I know he went to Memphis, but haven't heard him since.

Bismark, ND, according to Bill's posts on the Memphis boards in 2008.
