Turkey day

All we have to do is change one word from Mr. Carlson's famous quote: "God as my witness, I thought turkeys could FRY! (fly)" No wonder Clear Channel is trying to raise more capital...vans cost MONEY!!! ;D
 
That's the first thing I thought of when I read that headline! "Turkeys Away" is by far the best(and most well-known)episode of WKRP. 8)
 
I take back what I said about vans costing money. I looked up the story and videos on Tampa TV sites and discovered that the van was apparently an old beater that wasn't even in running condition...it was towed in for the stunt. So they're not out much if any money at all. Now for how much they'll be shelling out in attorney fees...who knows. The Fire Chief appeared to be extremely angry with the station and staff. And you can see how stupid the one staffer looks trying to put the fire out with his $19.95 WalMart extinguisher! :D
