Turkey Of The Year

Seems like Christmas (oops - Winter Holiday to be PC) comes earlier and earlier each year. Witness the decision of KEZ to go all Ho-Ho-Ho music on 11/17 - one week before Turkey Day. Likely candidate for our award. But then there's the transfer of KT'R to the men in secret underwear. Nurse Jeff and I thought finally there was light at the end of the dark Emmis tunnel, but noooooo! They decide to get serious with PMD News by pairing Ted Simonds with Heidi Fogelsong and yank Gaydos. What a Joke, indeed. Then Liebo is shown the door and replaced by the boring Tony Snow. Their less than brilliant PD has him voicetrack timechecks and news intro as she's still hung up on the "Live, Local & First" fiasco. Worthy of a drumstick or two IOHO. But wait, there's more! Liddy & Hill, kings of PMD on KFYI, decide to take a station sponsored cruise to Alasaka and never come back. Success went to their fuzzy heads and a syndicator bought into it. One..no make that three slight problems. First, no one listens to KKNT. Second, L&H start after 5pm during DST..two hours into the daypart. And Third, this aint the best time to be rallying round Dubya! So absent any other major boneheaded radio move this year, the Middle Eastern Men of The Media award Liddy & Hill our esteemed "Turkey Of The Year" award. Okay, Nurse..pass the giblets this di-rection.

Is this the same, infamous, one and only, radio doctor and guru that worked at KMEO back in the day? If so, I tip my fez to you!!!
