Right around this time every year my thoughts return to those fun days of the 70's when as a kid I was trying to win a turkey on the WARM Turkey Trot. Where is West's Wishbone these days?
 
I think there was McNulty's "minced meat", but I can't recall now the others... can anone help fill out the field?
 
Didn't Ace Newsman Bud "Sippy" Jacobs have Jacobs' Jiblets??
Or was it Sipppy's Serendipitous Squabs????
 
WAIT! I remember now---it was Sippy's Wild Turkey.
Yeah, that was it.
 
The worst contest we ever had at WARM and there were many was...."Send in your turkey wishbone and your wish could come true" Well...People just ripped out the greasy wishbone ...put it in an envelope and sent it in. We were in Avoca at the time and the Avoca post office was really pi$$ed. They had bags of greasy, smelly letters and called us to pick them up ASAP....That was a great idea ::) ::) ::) ::)
