Turning on, Tuning in, Dropping out

Wow! Within the past week I heard Traffic's Dear Mr Fantasy on WZLX & Iron Butterfly's In A Gadda Da Vida on MIKE. Did someone pass the dutchie?

Dear Mr. Fantasy, produced by the late, great, Jimmy Miller. 1940-1994

IN A GAdda DA VIDA from the original RED DRAGON movie.

Dear Mr. Fantasy has been in WZLX's regular (light) rotation for many years. I hear it fairly often there.

the 17 minute version? ;D

all I can think of is the Simpsons' episode where Bart switches the music on the organist and the congregation sings the song and they have a graphic that goes "17 minutes later" and the organist passes out!

The classic rock station down the cape (104.7) frequently plays "The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" by Traffic
