Wonder what type of ratings this will get but proably better than current shows.
 
Down here in LA, Channel 9 has been running a news block from 8:00-11:00 for years. Works quite well for them.
 
Maybe Leslie Griffith and Tom Sinkovitz can do that broadcast at 9pm on TV20 rather than Dan Ashley. ABC 7 puts on a very good news program in my opinion.

As much as I'd love to see it on ABC 7, but I know they have ABC Programming, but I think take over the pie that was left by KRON is a great idea. Great job! I have always liked ABC 7's newscasts.
 
Almost like history repeating itself. Remember back when James Gabbert owned KOFY TV20? Back then KRON produced a 10 O'clock newscast. That was when they first brought in Pam Moore from Boston.

When MyKRON dropped the nine o'clock news, I thought for sure that KTVU would have produced a 9PM newscast for KICU channel 36, since Cox broadcasting owns both stations.

Looks like KGO stepped up and got their stuff together first. Way to go! I'll be watching as there is not much better stuff on the tube now.

Maybe there will a buyout coming. Granite doesn't want CH 20.

hmmm....so far the overnights ratings for TV20 at 9pm is not doing so well, usually a less than 1.0 HH overnite rtgs. KRON 4 News at nine before MY TV Network had an average of 2-3 HH rtg.
