TV 38 News at 9

I was really bored (ran out of books) and turned on TV 38 News. I had almost forgotten how bad it was. I wince watching it. Tonight it was just Chris, standing there looking bored, reading the news. His banter with Ken Barlow (and that ugly tie Ken had on--did he lose a bet?) was like aluminum foil on a silver filling. Ouch. I actually like Ken, but Chris managed to dumb him down.

And then that too-loud, obnoxious, jarring filler music that they use. What is up with that? Does the news director over there have no pride to have such a losing news team? Ugh. I'm going to have nightmares tonight.
 
The whole newscast just looks unprofessional almost-- I understand the different approach and set but I think people are more geared to traditional news. You are dead right, some nights it looks like they wake Chris May up at 8:55 and say here just read this LOL
 
I guess as long as they're the "only" newscast on at 9 PM, they have free range to do whatever they want.
