Ok, there you have it, up until 3 hours before the RAIN, 10, 6 , 12 , WPRO, WHJJ and the rest were ALL predicting 4 to 8 in of snow, heavy at times! Even along the Coastline.Well, all I saw was rain.
Can you imagine the talk radio uproar, if this happened on a school day and schools were closed baised on the traffic gridlock storm of 2 weeks ago? Doesn't this prove , we can't control,, or know CRAP?

I heard Dan Yorke was running up and down his street " Help Me, Help Me, It gonna Snow!".
The neighbors called the police. Essermans at the Gym and Cicilline just grabbed his fiddle.

Booooooooooooooooo

Actually the 6PM news on Channel 10 wasn't calling for that much snow, but more rain cutting down accumulations in greater Providence. I didn't hear any radio updates, but check accuweather.com, which is the weather service WPRO uses, & they were calling for 1-3. I will admit there's this tendency at times to keep updating the weather until shortly before the precipitation at times, but yesterday I think everyone was pretty much on target.

As far as the mayor, he's getting ready for Bright Night with some opening ceremony with the snow queen. God, now I'm sounding like one of Matt Allen's callers!

Hum, until 5 pm, across the board, everyone was saying 4 to 8 inches with as much as a foot
in the higher elevations.
Cheers!!
Chatty.

On New Years Eve, Cicilline is playing Mario Halario's fiddle ;D

Dan was heard muttering to his wife that radio talk hosts at WPRO are now considered "essential" personal much like doctors and nurses and he might have to go to work if it gets really bad outside. ;D
