TV - David Wire takes chief meterologist role at WTHI

Apparently at the first of this month, Kevin Orpurt stepped aside from doing the evening news and weather on WTHI citing health concerns. David Wire, who had been doing mornings slides into the role.

Orpurt is apparently doing the Noon show.
 
WATCHED WHEN KEVIN PASSED THE WEATHER POINTER TO DAVID. DONE WITH A TOUCH OF CLASS! CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVID AND A JOB WELL DONE FOR KEVIN. GLAD HE'S STAYING AROUND.
