TV Equipment vendor shutdown-Commercial Video Systems gone

I just received word that the long time Austin TV vendor Commercial Video Systems is shutting down. It was bought a couple of years ago by the Canadian company Acura Technology Group. Apparently, Acura wasn't doing as well as it needed to as it is closing along with its CVS subsidiary here in Austin and another subsidiary up in Minneapolis. That's kind of a pisser (besides folks being out of work) as CVS was the one TV equipment here in Austin that lasted through the 80s and 90s and most of this decade when many others like MCSI, BSI and who else knows what came and went. There are some good folks there that will be missed.
