TV Facts magazine

With the demise of TV Guide as we know it in about a week, it would be good to get local TV listings in paper format besides your local newspaper. I recall seeing a magazine called TV Facts, which has local TV listings and advertisements, and it is for free. Anyone know if and where this magazine is available?

Or rather, is it still available anywhere? I was unable to find a TV Facts (or equivalent) anywhere on my trips in the US or Canada the past few years.

Here in Phoenix, we have TV y Mas, a Spanish-language TV listings magazine. It lists all channels, not just the Spanish-language stations, and it's free. Not at all hard to follow even if your Spanish is mucho lousy.

No equivalent in English is available here other than the local fishwraps.

I spotted a TV Facts magazine a couple months ago, and it was a new edition too. It was left on a table at the cafe I work at (which is north of the border).

They're not as common as they used to be, but they tend to be still available in areas with a lot of elderly people (such as in the vicinity of my cafe).

From what I remember, it wasn't that great a publication. And talk about confusion. For TVO and Global, they showed only their call letters, CICA and CIII respectively. Yet for CKCO, they indicated it only as CTV.
______________

Saint John, New Brunswick has one.

My local grocery store here in Jersey City usually has some sort of free TV guide right near the exit of the store. I never bothered to pick one up but it looks similar to the guides you can often find in the Sunday newspaper.

Which used to be shared with Sussex and Moncton IIRC...

I published one of those many years ago in Lancaster-Palmdale, Calif.

Maybe I should get back into that business.
______________
