TV journalist decries sexiness-before-skill trend

Heather Unruh, former anchor at WCVB, states in this article from the Boston Herald, "I think it’s insulting to viewers’ intelligence to suggest that what a woman is wearing, and whether or not it is provocative, will have any impact on if they choose to watch. It is this former newscaster’s opinion that content, trust and credibility are a station’s real assets."

Tell that to Anthony Scaramucci, who commented on the appearance of the White House spokesman Sarah Sanders.

Appearance isn't only an issue for women. Male TV talent should be well groomed as well. There was a thread somewhere talking if it's acceptable to have tattoos on newsmen. What say you?

I'll admit, the cursed "Consultants" have me all figured out.

I'm not watching any news unless those "Formfitting Dresses, Toned Calf's and High Heels are attached to a 20/30 something Gal with nine Gams!

I can read about a grease fire or cat up a tree in my local birdcage liner locally!

Nine gams! Are you looking for a mutant spider?

She's looking for attention, bumped into obscurity lately......
Hike that skirt Heather! exercise those calves and get back on the tube like your "form fitting female friends on the boob tube!
Pun intended!😂
