TV Land adding Addams, Munsters

I just read on Sitcoms Online and TVLand.com that TV Land is adding The Munsters and The Addams Family [again] in March 2007...details are supposed to be coming soon.

Munsters has been on before

And so have the Addams. Both shows have been run over & over again on TV Land, especially The Munsters. In fact I didn't even notice they were gone til I read this.

They both left sometime in the fall of last year. It appears that they're 'swapping' the rights they have for 227 and Benson at the end of February for Munsters and Addams Family via The Program Exchange.

LOL!! I never noticed that they were gone either - not because the shows are in any way boring, but because TV Land is so bad that we rarely watch it anymore. All weekend with Gunsmoke and/or Bonanza? Enough! The last time we watched the channel at any length was during the "That Girl" marathon weekend.

Frankly, trading 227 and Benson for the Munsters and Addams Family would seem to be the deal of the century! For once, TV Land actually did a good thing.

Hey! By your statement, you imply that we got nothing done that weekend and watched tv the whole time!

(oh wait...I did do that) LOL

"But Daddy, I wanna change my name to Marie Brewster!" :)
