TV Listings on ZAP2IT.COM and The TV Guide Channel

On ZAP2IT.COM the listings for WSAH Channel 43 are still a mixture of Shop-At-Home Network Programming and Jewelry Television listings even though JTV hasn't been on WSAH since September when Shop-At-Home resumed 24/7 programming. As for the TV Guide Channel it hasn't had any listings for WSAH for 3 weeks or so. It's listed on the scroll in order like all the other channels, but It just says 8 WSAH - WSAH PROGRAMMING. WSAH is in the process of being sold to Arthur Liu and will become the Flagship Station of some Asian Network he owns in June. Also on the TV Guide Channel, since the end of January WHPX channel 26 (the ION affiliate) has been listed as ION instead of WHPX even though the listings are correct for WHPX.

Oh and also on ZAP2IT.COM the listings for COX Sports Television are the listings for the New Orleans version of the network (which shows much more actual sports programming) instead of the local Meriden or Providence version (which is mostly infomercials.

TV Guide (Magazine, Channel, website) is a total joke.

In Atlanta, WPXA is ION, WATL is listed as MyATLtv (while sister WXIA is listed as WXIA), WGTV is listed as GPB and WPBA is PBA. Eveything else is known by it's callsign. If you are at it, why not list WSB as WSB-TV, WAGA as Fox5, WXIA as 11Alive, WGCL as CBS46 and WUPA as CWATL. Either list everything by legal callsign (prefered) or by known name, don't mix the two.

The listings for my cable system, Acworth Cablenet (which is shutting down in a couple of months) has only partial channels listed, many of which are incorrect.

And when Joan and Melissa Rivers are on, forget listings on that Channel, unless you have a good pair of binoculars. Entertainment news is all they care about at TV Guide, not TV listings.

The displayed names of the channels come from the cable provider, while the listings themselves come from TV Guide.

Very irritating when the station itself does it. WCTX-TV (MY) channel 59 of New Haven only identifies as "MY-TV 9" as in cable channel 9.
