Can someone please briefly explain what CW/33 is going to be? Will they still be doing news at 9:00?

Yes they will be doing news. Ch.21 for the first time will be doing news at 9p,plus Ch.4 will still be doing news at 9p. So 9p will have 3 stations doing news at 9p. 33 will be be the new CW network. 27 will be the new MY network. 21 will be an independent of of sorts, since they are owned by CBS.

You seem to have a pretty good handle on this klif ... so what is the relationship between CW and WB? Are all of these going to be english speaking channels? Oh please say YES.

CW is the result of a merger between UPN and WB. All of the programming is english.

I'm curious, why is this thread on a radio board? Shouldn't it be on the Texas TV board?

The CW Network = CBS (owner of UPN) and Warner Bros (owner of WB)...it does NOT stand for Country Western or Continuous Wave ;)

Kinda surprised the moderator didnt move this to the TV board...oh well, onward thru the fog...
