Anyone know what happened to Laura Faber on FOX 17 news? They announced their awards they just received and mentioned her as former anchor?

She apparently has 'retired' from television news to spend more time with family. I caught her last newscast about a month ago and they had a recap of her career at Fox 17.

Speaking of which, anybody ever notice how several Fox 17 anchors previously worked for other Nashville TV stations (Sharon Puckett - WSMV, Scout Couch - WTVF, Laura Faber - WSMV, former weatherman Joe Case - WTVF, morning host Charlie Chase - WSMV)?

I'm just trying to figure out who dresses the anchors on the Sports Zone on Sunday nights. Wife and I look forward to Pat Sperdudos outfit of the week. YIKES

Fired ... um.. "At Liberty" happens to TV people too... and the gotta go somewhere. Name recognition is good if you are struggling to show in the ratings
 
I just wish Channel 4 would let weatherman "Tim" have a personality again and I can't wait for Lelan Statom to
go from average high's of "a pair of fours" to at least "double nickels." ah, the good ole days of ... TV!

I think the funniest thing I heard him say when he was on FOX 17 was when he gave the temp for the day and said it was within the Fox 17 degree guarantee. The guy prior to him was great as well. Can't remember his name.

You still have to watch and see how the Sports Zone dresses for the show. Surely Levy Brothers would underwrite these guys :-\

Nock, I have seen them. Polyester is making a come back. It used to be exclusive to disco in the 70's and jazz
artists in the 90's to current. Sports Zone is just a step ahead of the dress police. Maybe we need a
"What Not To Wear" intervention. :eek:
