TV Reporter- SNL-Rhode Island Connection

I am sadden to learn that former WPRI-TV Newsreporter Charles Claverie has died.Claverie who stage name was Charles Rocket was part of Saturday Night Live. I had the pleasure of meeting this nice person when I was a senior in High School the entire student body was protesting the hot lunch program back in the late 1970's. Years later Mr. Claverie ended up joining the SNL lineup as Charles Rocket. Rest in Peace Charles.
