TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

That's a lot of syndicated timeslots that need to be filled in 2022-23... CW+ needs to fill two hours of time in September without JERRY JERRY JERRY!! and Nick Cannon...Dr. Oz's former stations running TGD will need to find a new show as well. In Yakima, KAPP/KVEW is without a 4:00 syndicated show come fall.

A great majority of Fox stations, both O&Os and affiliates, will be greatly affected with some of these cancellations. For us in Los Angeles as an example, KTTV carries Rachael Ray (I'm surprised that she's still on the air at this point), Wendy Williams, Nick Cannon, and Dr. Oz/The Good Dish, while sister KCOP airs The Real (the first-run shows moved there from KTTV this past fall). We do know that Sherri Shepherd is permanently taking over Wendy Williams' show starting in the fall, and Jennifer Hudson's new talk show will launch in the fall as well, with Fox and Hearst being the key station groups, with the Hearst stations using her as Ellen DeGeneres' replacement.

For the Fox stations, there's going to be at least two-to-three hours of daytime programming that they're going have to fill in quick order. The early summer months is usually when stations start to get their fall schedules in order, but there's still a lot in the works...it's still about six months away from the start of another TV season.

Rachael Ray is appointment viewing for my mom. She loves her recipes and the chemistry in the episodes where she hangs out with her husband John. She also used to watch Martha Stewart Living when it was on 20 years ago, so it's not the only cooking show she has watched on TV.

Out of the syndicated shows cancelled in Des Moines Iowa are :

The Good Dish - 12:35am KCCI 8 (CBS)
Judge Jerry - 10am KDSM 17 (Fox)
The Real - 1pm KCWI 23 (CW)

The Wendy Williams Show hasn't aired for awhile now it use to air on WHO 13 but they pulled her show a few years ago and Nick Cannon didn't air here.

WoodTV will have to fill 3PM slot I think they may put Jennifer Hudson in that timeslot and go with news at 4PM where Ellen was. WOTV will have to fill 9AM hour since The Reel being cancel, CW7 Judge Jerry and Nick Cannon at 12:30PM for Judge Jerry 4PM for Nick Cannon.
