TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

It’s interesting to see Fox make a move back toward a traditional sitcom, after a fairly consistent run of higher concept single camera shows (plus the animated series). They’re going to have less space available after adding Thursday football, at least in the fall, so dropping some marginal shows makes sense. Gotham seems destined for the same fate.

and the annual end of TV season purge has began, Fox has canceled 3 comedies.

Brooklyn 99 is canceled after 5 seasons, The Mick is canceled after 2 seasons and The Last Man on Earth is canceled after 4 seasons, all 3 were on the bubble, but Fox felt it was time to kill them all to make room for the new shows that are picked up for the 2018-2019. this is only the beginning of annual "Cancellation month"

I watched all of them and liked them.

"Last Man", which no longer lived up to its title after only a few episodes, was having a hard time coming up with plots.

I was surprised "The Mick" came back but we had to see how they handled life after burning down their mansion. But the cliffhanger this season needed resolving.

“Alex Inc,” “Kevin (Probably) Save The World,” “Deception,” “Inhumans,” “Ten Days in the Valley,” “The Mayor,” and “The Crossing” are pink slipped from ABC.

Designated Survivor wasn't a bad show, and I'm sorry to see it go. The rest I don't really care about - and Kevin probably did NOT save the world...in fact, he made the 10PM Tuesday timeslot on ABC a waste of my time.
