TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

20
20/20 and 60 Minutes don’t belong in the same sentence. Once upon a time, yes. But what’s currently using the 20/20 name is salacious, crime of the week garbage.

20/20 is nothing like it use to be. When Dateline NBC premiered in 1992 it was modeled after 20/20 with 4 or 5 news stories in an episode.

Dateline NBC now is just a 1 story mystery that lasts 2 hours and 20/20 really hasn't been the same since Hugh Downs and Barbra Walters anchored the show.

Just like Dateline NBC copied 20/20 in 1992 now 20/20 is copying Dateline NBC with 1 2 hour mystery every week.

Yes...once upon a time. I meant classic, Hugh and Barbara 20/20. THAT was good. It's now a Dateline/48 Hours emulator now. I haven't seen a 'newsmagazine' story on 20/20 in years.

A spinoff related to the TV Series Daria is cancelled.

Probably for the best...MTV stopped being relevant decades ago. The people like myself who were in junior high or high school when it came out no longer watch MTV. Best to leave it the way it was and remember it for being a 90's show.

Hot Wheels and L.A. Fire & Rescue are done at NBC after 1 season.

Wait....you were there when it came out and don't understand that you aging out of the audience has nothing to do with relevancy of the channel?
