TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

The "Games" are over. Pictionary, Person, Place or Thing and variety series Dish Nation all Cancelled after this season and not returning for fall 2025.

I'm surprised about Pictionary as I thought it was doing well in the ratings which means WOTV will maybe get one of the newer game shows for syndication for fall 2025 9AM to 10AM. Not surprised by Person, Place, Or Thing getting Cancelled filler for WXMI FOX17 as that was in the graveyard since it's debut in fall of 2023. Dish Nation I was surprised that lasted as long as it did truth be told always was on WXSP 11PM or 11:30PM timeslot and sister station CW6 Jan of 2024 at 5AM to 5:30AM.

WOI 5 (ABC) Local 5 News at 11am Weekdays in Des Moines/Ames has been cancelled apparently. Just noticed today that it has been replaced with Iowa Live at 11am and Dish Nation at 11:30am.

What a waste considering that Dish Nation is canceled after this season's airing.

That's interesting I thought the syndicated edition of Dr. Phil ended as soon as Merit Street Media started. But then again it had to be a transition period for local stations that has no affiliation with Merit Media to remove the show and make way for Merit Media and their affiliates to get national clearance for the Dr. Phil show.

Dr. Phil McGraw is winding down its deal with Paramount Global and CBS Media Ventures to offer re-runs of his talk program “The Dr. Phil Show” in broadcast syndication, The Desk has learned.

On Thursday, an executive with Merit Street Media — the media company formed by McGraw two years ago — confirmed all 21 seasons of The Dr. Phil Show will be available on Merit TV, the broadcast and cable channel launched last April.

“Bringing all 3,800-plus episodes under one roof at Merit TV aligns with our strategy to build and expand the next-generation media company centered on Dr. Phil’s internationally recognized brand,” Joel Cheatwood, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Merit TV, said in a statement.

The “International” and “Most Wanted” agents are turning in their badges
Numerous cast changes didn't help FBI: International, which seems more adrift now, though I am way behind on episodes.

I bailed on FBI: Most Wanted after season one. Too dark; have to draw the line somewhere for my mental health.

Was planning to dump the flagship FBI as it has become too formulaic. Seems as if each episode is something I've seen dozens of times.

Will at least sample FBI: CIA however, should that get the go-ahead.

“Frasier” is unemployed by Paramount+
Looks like Kelsey is not happy about the cancellation…
